This is from our first feature Pastry Chef, Valerie Pradhan; she is a professional pastry Chef from the Culinary Institute of America, a highly experienced cake decorator, and this is one if her creations. Here she tell us something about this beautiful cake...
Chef Valerie: The book cake was done for a baby shower of a good friend. I had done book cakes in the past, but this was my first stacked book cake, so I was a bit nervous about it. I ended up being pleased with the final result, although I am my own worst critic!
